Mae Moh Power Plant Project Units No.4to13

Owned and operated by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), the Mae Moh Power Plant is Thailand's largest coal-fired power plant. It consists of an open-pit lignite mine and 13 thermal power generating units, the fuel of which is supplied from the mine. Marubeni have, tied-up with ABB and Fuji-Electric, consecutively been awarded the contracts from EGAT for units No. 4 through No. 13 and they were successfully put into operation. (No. 4 through No. 7 are 150MW/unit, and No. 8 through No. 13 are 300MW/unit. Total installed capacity is 2,400MW which is equivalent to approx. 10% of existing installed capacity in Thailand as of 2003)
